Health Chat with Shelby – Healthcare For Human Rights is an informational podcast that Mycala McKay and myself project managed for Shelby Perry.

This podcast has a goal of raising awareness to healthcare workers and first responders on the signs of human trafficking and how to recognize human trafficking victims.

The Woman With the Vision

Our client, Shelby Perry, is a Masters Public Health student at New England Institute of Technology. Shelby has a strong passion for victims of human trafficking and advocating for their experiences.

The focus of this podcast has a target audience of healthcare workers and first responders because of her findings on how little those in the field have training on this very matter.

It is her hope to bring awareness to healthcare workers and first responders so that they can assess their knowledge and take action.

Project Management - Our Roles

As the project managers, Mycala and myself were tasked with:

Providing a well written Charter.
Evolving the Charter into a formal Project Proposal for approval.
Implementing and following a structured and clear Timing and Action calendar.
Creating an Instagram and Facebook page for this campaign
Creating compelling graphics and strong SEO body copy for social channels such as Instagram and Facebook.
Weekly meetings with our client, Shelby, to receive approval on all of the proposed ideas.
